Studio di un drago d'acqua dolce

A special, little water dragon! (That has a story behind it).

Recently an artist we knew has, sadly, passed away. We knew him during the organization of a collective art exhibition, his place was right next to us. He was older than us, and an impressionist, so he used to say that he loved the fact that, at such short distance, you could find old styled, classic impressionism just right next to fantasy art reinvented by younger generations.

The first work we saw of him had water lilies in them; he had many paintings with that subject. As a tribute, we decided that this once we could make that distance between our art even shorter, and drew a tiny dragon for his water lily pond. Ciao, Francesco!
