Commission for Sarah Jackson, finally in color! A piece that's a little more tender, with Brooklyn and Caribbeana embracing each other as mates both physically and metaphorically. Of course we sneaked in some symbolism: their hands are tied in an old ceremony fashion, since handfasting is something even medieval Europeans (like the beaked lovebird here) would have been familiar with, and there's also a little amorino statue (a winged Cupid-like child, which is still made of stone, and not a gargoyle) perched on the rooftop behind them... and two cats. Yes, they are in love.
Caribbeana is a fan OC while Brooklyn is a canon character from the '90s cartoon Gargoyles, which is a little animated gem and you should definitely try seeing it.
